Voice Management API

Voice Management provides pools as a way to manage your call trackers in groups.

Brief Overview

Below is a brief overview of a pool's properties and the various types that Voice Management supports.

Pool Properties

Property Description
original_number One of the phone numbers you registered under your account
area_code The area code of the call tracker to be used
description A description of the pool
is_dni Determines if the call trackers in the pool are to be used for DNI
is_prompted Determines if the call tracker has a prompt before calls begin
is_recorded Determines if the call tracker will save a recording of calls
pool_type Manual or automated
property_token Your Orbee Property ID
size The amount of call trackers that are to be assigned to the pool's phone number
utilization The percentage of call trackers that will be active at a given moment

Manual Pools

Call trackers created in this type of pool will have to be assigned manually to the pool's attached phone number. Any updates to the call trackers will have to be done manually. These pools should be used if permanent call trackers are desired.

  • Utilization will always be ignored for manual pools

Automated Pools

Call trackers created in this type of pool will be automatically assigned to the top source/medium. These pools should be used for Dynamic Phone Insertion (DNI).
