Manual or Automated Guide

This guide will help you decide which pool type is right for your needs.

Manual Pools

Use a manual pool if your needs fall under the following:

  • You will be replacing your own phone number somewhere that isn't your website. (e.g. Google My Business or advertisements on videos, newspapers, radio, etc.)
  • You want to have a reserve of call trackers that aren't used for DNI.
  • You want to use the call tracker for DNI but want to manually choose what source/medium it is assigned to.

DNI for manual pools is not yet supported.

Automated Pools

Use an automated pool if your needs fall under the following:

  • You want call trackers dynamically assigned to your top source/mediums.
  • You want call trackers to be used for DNI on your website.
